2005 Category USA Cycling Officials Clinic Update...<--Posted Wednesday, February 9, 2005 by Gary
    Hi Everyone!

Just a reminder that the 2005 Category USA Cycling Officials Clinic given by Steve Shepherd will be Saturday, February 19th in Russellville, AR from 9:00 AM until 5 or 6 PM. The address is 1310 West Main Street, parking in back, look for the yellow Tri-Peaks Arrows. This building is 2 blocks west of Hardees and across the street. Snacks will be provided.

As well as being a clinic for new officials, this is also the refresher course for all current officials. Please try and make arrangements to attend.

Any questions please call Steve Shepherd @ Home 501-225-6077 and work 501-252-3008.

There is a fee to USA Cycling for the license if you are becoming a new official. Last year it was $35.00.

Bike Club Presidents would you please distribute this information to your clubs? If you live in Fort Smith and want to attend we will meet at Mercy Fitness Center at 7:00 AM and carpool down.

I hope to see a nice crowd there!

Democrat-Gazette, Arkansas Section 2B River Trail Update <--Posted Sunday, February 6, 2005 by Gary
Sweet article in today's paper about more property under development for the River Trail! According to the paper this will be the section known as the "Medical Mile"....."When completed, the Arkansas River Trail will stretch from downtown Little Rock to Pinnacle Mountain and from downtown North Little Rock to Cook's Landing on the north shore. A fourteen mile loop will be created by a pedestrian bridge across Murray Lock and Dam and a railroad bridge near the Clinton Library. Pick a paper up and check the article out!"

    Kewl!
