|
Mark your calendars for the next BACA meeting, December 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Oyster Bar, 3003 W. Markham, Little Rock. Our speaker will be Bud Laumer, Bicycle-Pedestrian Coordinator for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department. Bud is a long-time bicycle advocate, and since arriving in Arkansas has been actively involved in the bicycling community. Please plan on attending the meeting to give Bud a belated welcome and to learn what plans the state highway and transportation department has for bicyclists and what we can do to encourage the highway and transportation department to do more for bicyclists. As always there will be good food and good company.

2008 Trail Symposium Ride We had a great ride, what a beautiful day! Famous cycling celebs like Gary Lamb were on hand to help lead rides for out-of-town visitors wanting to catch rides out at Camp while engaged in the 2008 National Trail Symposium in Little Rock. Daron Harris, Basil Hicks, and myself :-), led several small groups. Thanks to all of those who loaned bikes and participated! Watch for more photos on the "Pic of The Day"!
