My bike was a GT Aggressor that was black and silver. I upgraded the wheels. The front brake caliper was black and the back was silver. I had a green tool kit bag under the seat where I also kept my CARP card. This bike was stolen from the Park at Riverdale off of Riverfront Drive. I very much appreciate your looking out. If you should have any reports of seeing a bike that fits this description please do not hesitate to call my cell phone at 501.831.1399.

I was riding Friday morning 08/10/07 and found a front mountain bike wheel with a disk brake in the parking lot on the Little Rock side of the damn bridge. If you could forward this someone may be looking for it. If so they can contact me at fcranford@msn.com

Thanks

Go Slow on the Big Dam Bridge!!<--Posted Thursday, August 9, 2007 by Gary
Bicycle collides with young girl on BDB
For those that have not heard, about a week ago there was an incident on the BDB where a cyclist collided with a 9 year old girl. The girl apparently was walking across the bridge with family and the cyclist was also crossing the bridge to the NLR side. The story goes that the young girl made a turn across the bridge and the cyclist ran into her. Reports are that she was injured and she might have some lasting effects from it. I do not know if the cyclist was injured and that is all the information I have.

This is already going to litigation and there is the real potential for damage to cycling as a whole. It was reported that the cyclist was moving "at a high rate of speed" when the accident occured. We all know this is a very subjective term but it will come into play if this goes to court.

Carp would like to remind everyone that the best thing for everyone is for riders to slow down on the bridge and if in a group, go in single file, keeping to the right. Signal your approach and passing when you go around walkers, runners and other cyclists.

Thanks

Hey Everyone:

The website host is doing some upgrades to the server here. The membership area will be offline for today and tomorrow (crosses fingers) Hopefully the changes will not break anything. The membership application maybe offline with no ETA if the host breaks the application.

Thanks
