From the BACA site....

Our October 4, 2007 BACA meeting will be interesting, informative and exciting. Sherman Smith, Pulaski County Public Works Director, will present a power point presentation on "Roads, trails and bridges for the future of bicycle and pedestrian needs." Please plan on attending to hear Pulaski County's plans with regard to development of bike paths and trails. We all enjoy the Big Dam Bridge - so let's let Sherman Smith know that we appreciate the County's efforts.

The meeting will be at the Oyster Bar at 7:00 p.m. There will also be an update on advocacy efforts and other items of interest to bicyclists. As always, there will be good food and good company.

Lewis and Clark at it again!<--Posted Monday, September 10, 2007 by Gary
I just got this email from our friends at Lewis and Clark, check it out.......

Just wanted to let you guys know about a few events we have coming up this month. On Saturday, September 22, we will be hosting a free pancake breakfast in the bike shop for all local riders. We'll be leading the usual 10 am easy road ride from the store, but the meal is for everybody. It starts at 11:30 am to give everyone around town time to pack up the bikes and make it over to the store. Also, on Tuesday the 18th, we're teaching a free women's only bike maintenance clinic at 6:30 pm in the bike shop. The class will be taught by our two female bike department employees, and we'll be drawing for prizes. We also still have our free maintenance clinics for everyone every Monday night at 6:30. It would be great if you could post these events on your site. Thanks again.

Camp Robinson Cookout is Canceled<--Posted Wednesday, September 5, 2007 by Gary
Well the weather has taken a turn for the worse and we have canceled the cookout. Not to fear, the Guys at Outskirts said they would be glad to move this back one week. So next Wed. night same time, same place, be there for lot's of good chow. In the mean time head out to Bryant and tell these guys how much you appreciate what they are doing for us (maybe they will feel generous and bring desert!). I'll get another email out before time so keep an eye out.
